Buying a home? Check the heating and cooling first.
The fastest route is the phone. Describe the fault, the building and roughly when it started, and we will take it from there. We cover Roseville and the surrounding area.
Where to find the age
The data plate
A label on the outdoor unit and on the furnace lists model and serial numbers; many brands encode the build date in the serial.
Paperwork
Install invoices, permits and warranty registration usually give an exact date.
Ask us
Send photos of both data plates and we'll tell you the build years.
Questions for the seller
Ask before you sign
Service history
When was it last serviced, and by whom? Any repairs in the last few years?
Permits and warranty
Was the last replacement permitted? Is the manufacturer warranty registered and transferable?
Comfort
Are any rooms hard to heat or cool? How high are summer bills?
